Inspired from famous cafes in Thailand, Shanghai and Korea, the vibrant café-theme was recreated using a soothing pastel palette, wood panels, rattan, wallpapers and marble. Singapore-based interior design firm Mr Shopper Studio was presented with the project during challenging times that was the circuit breaker in 2020, to renovate an apartment into a practical and conducive home for a young couple.

The team at Arqmov Workshop are tasked with the challenge of creating Yuno apartments, a high-rise residential building consisting of eight levels, including a ground floor entryway housing seven apartment units. Sitting on an area of 92 square metres, the land had an irregular trapezoidal shape that further complicates the project design.
Nestled within the exclusive development by Four Seasons Orlando Resort in Florida, the six-bedroom dwelling was envisioned to be a home away from home. In the small town Sowon-myeon Padori which translates to “wish” and “wave” in Korean, a couple envisioned their house and a small guesthouse for dog lovers. Dog-friendly Mungzip guesthouse has always been the client’s dream, who often had trouble with finding good stay for her and her dogs while traveling. She wanted to call it. The beautiful location, their bravery in breaking social conventions, and the unique opportunity to create a “special guesthouse for dog lovers” fascinated the architects at YOAP.
A dog bed is an essential design element in the renovation of this house. Canadian architecture firm StudioAC design approach to the Sheridan Residence in Toronto involves using plywood as the main material for its scandi-chic aesthetic and functional appeal.
