Etcetera Design

The driving factor behind c’s success stems from their adopted mascot- the world famous Eiffel Tower. Erected from scratch within a year, naysayers wrote off the landmark’s chances of becoming an effective monument, let alone to be completed so efficiently back when industrial and technological resources were scarce.

Cris Cheng , Creative Director of Etcetera Design Pte Ltd, shared how the Eiffel Tower serves a functional purpose beyond simply looking majestic while providing a striking panoramic view; each pillar at the base actually points towards four different landmarks and places of interests in France. It is these very hallmarks that illustrate the Tower’s conception and purpose that resonate with every of Etcetera Design’s projects: speed, timelessness and iconic works.

Inspired by this enduring tale, Cris leads his team in the creative engineering of clientele needs- focusing on their forte of commercial projects, namely premier restaurants and corporate spaces. As a design firm that prides themselves on offering wholesale solutions, Cris and team not only fulfill customary obligations of overseeing development, but also aid in solidifying corporate identity. Additionally, Etcetera Design Pte Ltd functions as a one-stop consultancy, delivering all-encompassing efficiency- environmental procedures, Quality Control and logistical requirements are smoothly dealt with by the firm.

Cultural re-visits

One needs to experience the establishments conceptualized by Etcetera Design Pte Ltd to witness the vivid tributes to culture, manifested in the interior and décor.

Located in the heart of Holland Village, Keisuke Kamosoba continues its repute as an exclusive and authentic Japanese restaurant. This local branch and 13th restaurant under the Ramen Keisuke Group is the first Keisuke restaurant located in the West side of Singapore, offering a ramen centric menu. Its interior is inspired by rustic Tokyo with a Tatami laced ceiling structures, bamboo inspired flooring and furniture, a soulful adaptation of the bustling ramen pit stops frequented by salarymen in Japan.

Also in Holland Village is the Takeda Garden Sake Bar. A foliage of Cherry Blossoms installation greets the diner as the beginning of a Japanese experience. Inside splashes of bold red inspired by the Torii gates within a Shinto shrine prevails enhancing the surreal journey.
