First established in 2005 locally by its Principal Designer and Founder, Cindy Ang, Design Point Interiors Pte Ltd has since grown from strength to strength. Today, the company possesses an impressive and diverse portfolio of international and local projects, be it solely interior design or interior architecture projects, commercial and residential spaces alike. 

Upon graduation, Cindy spent a decade as an apprentice in both Japanese and local architectural firms. During this time, she worked on a myriad of projects ranging from hotels to resorts, as well as for residential interiors. Cindy operated like a sponge towards each new project, continuously absorbing the influx of information and knowledge that each task provided. Before long, she started receiving her own assignments, leading to the birth of Design Point Interiors Pte Ltd, a result of larger and more diversified local and international project needs.

Hence, it is of no surprise that an integral aspect of the company’s service includes competitive presentation and drawing skills, while being very knowledgeable in whichever scope of project undertaken.

Sophisticated, yet simplistic

Throughout the vastly varying design projects worked on by the firm, there is always an element of sophistication and simplicity within even the most complicated of styles or briefs. Also prevalent in Cindy and her team’s designs are their propensity for natural lighting and inter-relational space between exteriors and interiors.

Bambini Playscapes, situated in Dempsey, is an exemplary showcase of the company’s handiwork. The 600sqm space is a blend between children’s play space and a learning cum café area. It aims to be a multi-functional and holistic center, with party rooms for entertainment, pre-school lessons with Pink Tower in the week days, and its undoubted focal feature, a six meter tall play structure for kids. Bright and playful colours permeate a fun atmosphere, amidst the warmth of the neutral palette backdrop.
