Started out in 2005, 2nd Edition has been bringing outstanding design solutions to the industry. An inspiring boutique design studio for interior design consultancy, 2nd Edition has also garnered quite a substantial clientèle. With a portfolio ranging from residential projects, show units for residential developments and commercial projects, such as Auralis, Starlight Suites and even the Checker’s Inn boutique hostel, 2nd Edition has an uncanny ability to distinguish the different needs of each client. 

Starlight suites

The 1,615 square feet unit consists of 3 bedrooms and a private pool and a luxurious 6 metre ceiling height. The concept is to reflect the owner’s aesthetic lifestyle, collection of artifacts and artworks and a depiction of nature. The aim is to create an understated luxurious interior with the use of rich textures inspired from the collection of driftwood and plants.

The living and dining area showcases warm chocolate timber veneer paneling, wallpaper with abstract vertical tree patterns extending the double volume space even higher. A custom made 3.6 metre height suspended bubble glass pendant light highlights the tall ceiling. Topping it off with a mirror across the room creates depth.
